Navajo is an eastern community in San Diego. It encompasses the neighborhoods of Del Cerro, Grantville, San Carlos, and Allied Gardens. Navajo is known for its geographic beauty like Mission Trails Regional Park, Lake Murray, and the San Diego River. The community was named for the Navajo Indian tribe.
